In charge of all-things Octopus

Midway through the pandemic, I joined the Octopus Group team on a short-term FTC as a Digital Content Producer.
A B2B tech agency now part of the Publicis Groupe family, I was responsible for all Octopus Group-branded content and digital channels.
I managed our social media, blog, Hubspot, website and analytics, and was in charge of our content and editorial calendars. Creating and updating sales enablement assets like whitepapers, case studies, guides and reports were also my responsibility.
Perhaps the ‘meatiest’ project during my time, and the one I’m most proud of, is this Brand to Sales Academy guide: ‘5 Quick Wins to Marketing Automation’ guide. This was the hero content as part of a wider campaign, with a supporting comms plan to illustrate the content inside.
As with much of OG’s content, the approach was to highlight a human touch. Colloquial language, cheeky humour and plain English would be essential in helping our brand stand out in an often-sterile industry.
I also worked closely with the internal copy team on Octopus Group’s redesigned website, from headers and footers to the site map and structure.
